SEO for Manufacturers: Found by Buyers, Not Browsers
Big B2B directories own the generic searches, and they charge you per lead for them. The searches that bring an enquiry (a grade, a standard, a spec, a capability) are long tail and mostly unclaimed. Our team builds the pages that answer them, then places two guest posts on business and industry sites we work with directly, read mostly in the US, UK or Canada.

What you get for the money
A guest post is not one unit of the same thing a volume pack sells. A foundation pack builds breadth: many links across many sites, so your profile stops looking thin. A guest post buys placement: an article written for one real publication and published in its editorial feed, with your link inside the body copy where the page is actually about your subject. Different job, different page, different reader.
- Where the link sits
- Inside the article body, not a sidebar, footer or profile page
- Who the page reaches
- That publication's existing readers, not a bare link index
- What we write
- An original piece on your topic, written for their editors to accept
- How long it stays
- Permanent placement, covered by free replacement for 12 months
Two ways to buy one: the price difference is the choice
On this page we pick the site: you set the standard, we place it on something in our inventory that meets it, and it costs less because we can use whichever qualifying site is free. If you would rather see the exact site first (its niche, monthly traffic, country and authority) before you spend anything, pick your own from the marketplace. That costs more, and it is the same work on a site you chose yourself.
What happens after this batch
Links earn their weight from consistency. One order is one month of link building, which is a starting point rather than a finished job. The same batch repeated over a few months is what actually compounds.
You do not have to take our word for it
Open Google Search Console for your own site. It is free, and it is your data, not ours. Go to Performance, set the date range to the last 3 months, and switch on Compare against the previous period.
Watch impressions and average position first. Both move before clicks do, so a flat click line in week three means the change has not reached the page yet, not that nothing happened.
Every report we send lists the exact pages we pointed links at, so you can filter Search Console down to those URLs and look at them on their own rather than at your whole site.
What we will not do is promise you a number. Where you rank depends on your content and your competitors as much as on your links, and anyone quoting you a position is guessing.
Available worldwide. Prices are in US dollars with no tax added, and you pay by card at checkout. Same page, no separate process.
How it works
- 1You order
Pay securely, then send your target URL and keywords, or add them by email after paying. Your slot is reserved either way.
- 2We check every link
Placement runs over 15–20 days, and every counted link is fetched and checked live before it reaches your report.
- 3You get the report
A white-label PDF + CSV listing every live link, its anchor text and the page it points to. Open any of them and check it yourself. Covered by a 12-month free link replacement.
What you’ll receive
You receive a white-label report of the work on your pages, change by change, and every live link listed so you can open any of them and check it yourself.
Here is a real audit we wrote for a business, with the names removed:
The site has good articles and product pages, but the list of pages it hands to search engines is out of date, so most of them are never seen.

- Dead URLs in the sitemap

Why manufacturing SEO works differently from consumer SEO
Judge a manufacturing site by traffic and you will conclude SEO does not work here. Ten visits a month can be a good month if those ten are procurement managers searching a grade you actually supply. One repeat order from one of them can outweigh a year of consumer-scale traffic.
That turns the usual advice around. Chasing broad terms like 'steel manufacturer' puts you behind the big B2B directories, which have years of authority and a business model built on selling you back the lead. Manufacturing SEO is won the other way: down the long tail, on the exact words a buyer types when they already know what they need.
- 01Grade and standard searches: 'ASTM A36 plate supplier', '316L seamless pipe manufacturer'
- 02Capability searches: 'CNC machining job shop', 'MIG welding fabrication'
- 03Application searches: 'gaskets for chemical pumps', 'conveyor belts for cement plants'
- 04Comparison and substitution: '4140 vs 4340 shaft', 'alternative to imported X'
Industrial SEO: the pages buyers actually search for
Most manufacturing sites have one page called 'Products' listing forty items, and nothing else. That page cannot rank for any of the forty, because it is specific about none of them. The fix is structural, not cosmetic.
We build the pages a buyer's search deserves: one per product family, grade or capability, each with the specification table, tolerances, standards, sizes and applications a procurement search contains. This is where most competitors lose: they publish a photo and a paragraph, and a buyer comparing two suppliers picks the one whose page answered the question.
- 01Up to 10 product, grade or capability pages structured and optimised
- 02Specification tables made crawlable: sizes, grades, standards, tolerances
- 03Product and Organization schema so search engines read your catalogue properly
- 04Title, meta and heading structure per page, not one template repeated
- 05Internal links from your catalogue into the pages that convert
Enquiries, not traffic
A visit is not a lead. Industrial buyers send a specification and expect a quote. If your site does not make that easy, the enquiry goes to whoever does.
We fix the path from search to enquiry: a request-for-quote route on every product page, specification and datasheet downloads where they help, and contact details placed where a buyer looks for them.
- 01A request-for-quote path on each optimised page
- 02Enquiry forms that capture grade, quantity and application, not just a name
- 03Phone and email routes placed where buyers look for them
- 04Google Business Profile set up or corrected so your plant is findable and verifiable
Two guest posts on sites we work with directly
Once the pages exist, we place two guest posts on business and industry sites we deal with directly, read mostly in the US, UK or Canada. Our team writes each article around your products, with a do-follow link in the body pointing at the page that should rank. You see and approve each site before the post runs.
Two posts on real business sites do more for a cautious buyer than a hundred links nobody reads: they are the 'as featured in' proof a procurement manager checks before sending a first enquiry.
What you receive, and the honest bit
You receive the page work above and two guest posts, with a white-label report listing every change and every live link. Any link that drops within 12 months is replaced free.
This is a long-cycle sector. Industrial search volumes are small, buying decisions take months, and we make no ranking promises. What we can say is that the pages will exist, be indexable and answer the searches your buyers type. If you need enquiries this week, an ad budget will do that and SEO will not.

Frequently asked
Can you get us above the big B2B directories?
+
Not for broad searches like 'steel supplier'. Those belong to the directories, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something. What is winnable is the specification long tail: grades, standards, capabilities and applications. Those searches are fewer, but they come from buyers who already know what they need.
Our search volumes look tiny. Is SEO even worth it?
+
In manufacturing, volume is the wrong measure. A term with 20 searches a month that brings one procurement enquiry can be worth more than a term with 20,000 that brings browsers. We target low-volume, high-intent searches for exactly that reason.
Where do the two guest posts go?
+
On business or industry sites we work with directly, read mostly in the US, UK or Canada. We show you each site before the post runs, so you can check it yourself in Moz or Ahrefs.
How long before we see enquiries?
+
The page work and both posts land inside the 15 to 20 working day window. Movement on long-tail specification terms usually starts around weeks 6 to 12, and B2B buying cycles add their own delay. This is an asset that compounds, not a switch.
What do you need from us to start?
+
Access to your website or your developer, your product and grade list, any certifications or test reports you can share, and one person who can answer technical questions about what you make. The specification detail is the part we cannot invent, and it is what makes these pages rank and read credibly to a buyer.
Which manufacturers is this not right for?
+
Plants selling a single commodity on price alone, where the buyer's only question is today's rate: search cannot set you apart there. And anyone who needs enquiries inside a month. It works best where the buyer specifies something: a grade, a tolerance, a standard, a finish, a capability you can prove.
